The Olympic Games will soon be upon us.
Jubilee Beacon Keswick.
Looking out of Guest House window to Catbells summit, and can clearly see the Jubilee fire beacon from where we are sitting.
Later in the month the Olympic Torch will be coming through Keswick and will pass in front of the Guest House.

Beautiful sunny day here, with many visitors in the main street soaking up the holiday atmosphere. Tomorrow`s procession of boats on the Thames is being shown live on a large screen in the market place.Food Market tomorrow lunch time, with some folk groups playing on stage. Among the many local events is a hog roast down in Rosthwaite.Should be well attended, as unlike in London, the weather forecast here is set fair.
